That’s why today, here is my top 6 list of key performance indicators, that you need to keep an eye on in your next social campaign.

#1: Your Klout Score

Google and Facebook are both becoming more interested in influence and interaction – both measurements that you can find on Klout. Use this tool to keep yourself pushing to be a highly interactive social person, and your results will improve. Focus on building relationships with smaller communities to begin with.

#2: Bounce Rate

Find out how long people stay on all of your websites. Use tools to track where and why they arrive, and how long they linger, or why they move on. These can be applied to your website, your blog and all of your other social media profiles. These metrics will help you pinpoint where your content needs work.

#3: Tracking Your Links

Linkbuilding is one of the most efficient ways of ranking well, but how do you know that your links are working? By tracking all of them of course! Always use a link shortener like Bit.ly, and track them. That way, you’ll see which links work, and why they work.

#4: Measure Your Adjustment Progress

You should be reading and adjusting your content every month – and this should also be tracked. Measuring your adjustment progress and changes, will keep you improving. If you’re not improving, then you’re not trying hard enough! Never rest on your laurels!

#5: Reputation Tracking
